THE CAKES BY ALISON EXPERIENCE
From your first enquiry to the moment your wedding cake is revealed, every stage is thoughtfully managed to make the experience enjoyable, personal and effortless.
01 — INITIAL ENQUIRY
Tell me a little about your wedding, including your date, venue, guest numbers and any initial ideas you may have.
From here, I will provide a quotation and we can begin discussing the possibilities for your wedding cake.
02 — SECURE YOUR DATE
Once you are happy to proceed, a £150 booking payment secures your wedding date in the Cakes by Alison diary.
As I accept a limited number of wedding commissions each year, early booking is recommended, particularly for popular dates.
03 — CAKE SAMPLES
The delicious part.
Wedding cake sample boxes are available at selected times throughout the year, allowing you to try a selection of my most popular flavours from the comfort of home.
Additional flavours are also available for your final wedding cake.
04 — DESIGN CONSULTATION
This is where your wedding cake really begins to take shape.
We will explore your ideas, venue, flowers, colours, styling and any personal details you would like incorporated into your cake.
These elements are then brought together to create a bespoke design that feels completely at home within your wedding day.
05 — THE FINAL DETAILS
Approximately one month before your wedding, we will confirm your final design, flavours, sizing, styling and delivery arrangements.
Your remaining balance will also be due one month before your wedding, leaving everything finalised and taken care of ahead of the day.
I will liaise with your venue, florist or other wedding suppliers where necessary to coordinate the final presentation of your cake.
06 — YOUR WEDDING DAY
Your wedding cake will be individually created and carefully finished in the days leading up to your celebration.
On your wedding day, I will personally deliver your cake to your venue, assemble and style it ready for your arrival.
By the time you see your wedding cake, everything has been taken care of.
All that's left for you to do is enjoy it.
